About Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum

Located on the site of the former WWII airfield RAF Dumfries, this volunteer-run museum preserves local aviation history and the history of the airfield. The collection includes a Loch Doon Spitfire (replica), a Canberra, a Jet Provost, and exhibits on airborne forces and WWII training operations.
