About This Aircraft
The Airco DH.9 was a British single-engined biplane bomber developed during World War I, intended as a successor to the DH.4. It featured a repositioned cockpit to bring the pilot and observer closer. Despite issues with its BHP engine's reliability and performance, it was ordered in large numbers and saw widespread service.
